Job Description

The Chief Financial Officer is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO, ensuring the financial integrity and sustainability of the organization and geographically dispersed practices, while supporting its mission and strategic goals. This position is accountable for planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of the Finance Department, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, purchasing, revenue cycle management, on-boarding activities for new acquisitions, insurance, audits, payroll, and development and administration of Finance Policies & Procedures. This position provides input for management decisions, has knowledge of medical operations (including national programs and initiatives) and provides information, insight, and guidance with respect to financial and operational matters.

Key responsibilities: 

    • Lead, mentor, and train accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment
    • Financial management and reporting with cause-and-effect analysis
    • Financial budget planning, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
    • Collaborate with Executive Team to align financial strategies with organizational mission and goals
    • Lead and manage on-boarding process and financial integration of new acquisitions and partnering companies This role will have a direct interface with leaders and managers of acquired/partnering companies
    • Provide project support on key corporate, divisional, operational initiatives
    • Support compliance and audit activity to ensure adherence to tax laws, regulations, and internal policies
    • Provide insights through variance analysis, cost reporting, and financial modeling to support decision-making
    • Collaborate with senior management and other departments to provide financial guidance and reporting
Pay/Salary

$250,000 – $300,000

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in accounting/finance. CPA required
  • 5+ years Chief Financial Officer w/relevant experience in results driven, multi-site organization
  • Transactional experience with full cycle finance/accounting, audit, tax, payroll, bookkeeping, reporting, and due diligence analysis
