Job Description

LifespanMD is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Operations Manager to help drive the company’s operational and growth objectives. This role reports to the Vice President of Operations and serves as a key liaison to physicians and practice leaders across the network.

The ideal candidate brings strong financial and operational acumen along with exceptional relationship management skills. This individual must be able to build trust with physician partners while implementing scalable systems, governance, and performance frameworks across a growing MSO platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Growth Enablement

  • Support development and deployment of standardized, financially driven operating playbooks.
  • Drive initiatives that improve pricing strategy, service optimization, clinician recruitment, and patient acquisition.
  • Track ROI and performance outcomes to refine and scale best practices.

De Novo Launch Support

  • Assist with market analysis, business planning, and financial modeling for new practices.
  • Support launch readiness, infrastructure design, and early-stage operational execution.
  • Ensure new practices have a clear path to sustainable profitability.

Operating Model Scalability

  • Support performance management processes, including metrics, reporting cadence, and governance structures.
  • Drive M&A integration and practice onboarding.
  • Translate physician and practice feedback into structured operational improvements and roadmap priorities.
  • Lead vendor management strategy to improve operational efficiency and strengthen strategic partnerships, ensuring access to best-in-class clinical offerings, innovative diagnostics, and technology tools that enhance physician capabilities and patient outcomes.

Relationship Management Expectations

This role requires advanced relationship management capabilities. The Operations Manager will:

  • Build strong, trust-based partnerships with physicians and practice leaders.
  • Navigate varying leadership styles and practice maturities.
  • Facilitate alignment between MSO strategy and practice-level execution.
  • Communicate financial and operational insights with clarity and credibility.

Qualifications
  • 2-6+ years of experience in healthcare operations, MSO platforms, start-ups or healthcare consulting.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • Experience working directly with physicians or healthcare executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and implement scalable operational processes.
  • High emotional intelligence and executive communication skills.

 

Preferred

  • Experience in concierge, DPC, or membership-based care models.
  • Exposure to M&A integration.
  • MBA, MHA, or equivalent advanced degree.
